Solomon Island Leaf Frogs
I have a new favorite animal: the Solomon Island Leaf Frog. Why are they cool? Well, for one, they have leaf-like (leafy?) features, which allows them to camouflage in trees and on forest floors. Any animal that can camouflage is pretty awesome. Secondly, they completely skip the tadpole phase and emerge out of their eggs as tiny, fully-formed frogs. They’re the only frog species that does that. Itty bitty frogs that can hop around on your palm a.k.a “froglets”?! Friggin’ adorable!
A couple of pictures of the frog fully grown:

Thanks to Tad 20D for the photo!

By the way… I’m trying to keep this blog going, I really am. I’m just busy with RL stuff, so please bear with me.
Pictures!
WordPress is nice because, along with your blog, it gives you the ability to create pages, sub pages, and pretty much whatever content you want. It’s almost like having your own website. You can even customize the layouts and use HTML and CSS practically to your heart’s desire. Come to think of it, it sort of is like having your own site. For example, I’ve added a couple of pages filled with random nonsense to my “About Me” section. I’ve also added a “Links” section which includes a cute little button in case, for some crazy reason, anyone wants to link me.
Now, onto more interesting stuff. Pictures! Yay! First of all, here’s my new hair, complete with emo bangs.

Sorry about the cheesy grin. I’m too happy for emo bangs! I pushed them aside today, so they don’t cover my eye as much as they did right after I got them cut.
I might as well also show you the outfit I bought at Target recently. The quality of these photos is poor because I had to turn the flash off (I was too lazy to use the timer), but I’ve never claimed to be a good photographer anyway. I ended up buying a few basics: a red stretch shirt, a black cardigan, and straight-legged jeans.

There you go! You asked for it.
Glasswing Butterflies
I ran across pictures of Glasswing Butterflies on the internet today, and I think they’re one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen:

They look even more delicate than normal butterflies!
