Pictures!
WordPress is nice because, along with your blog, it gives you the ability to create pages, sub pages, and pretty much whatever content you want. It’s almost like having your own website. You can even customize the layouts and use HTML and CSS practically to your heart’s desire. Come to think of it, it sort of is like having your own site. For example, I’ve added a couple of pages filled with random nonsense to my “About Me” section. I’ve also added a “Links” section which includes a cute little button in case, for some crazy reason, anyone wants to link me.
Now, onto more interesting stuff. Pictures! Yay! First of all, here’s my new hair, complete with emo bangs.

Sorry about the cheesy grin. I’m too happy for emo bangs! I pushed them aside today, so they don’t cover my eye as much as they did right after I got them cut.
I might as well also show you the outfit I bought at Target recently. The quality of these photos is poor because I had to turn the flash off (I was too lazy to use the timer), but I’ve never claimed to be a good photographer anyway. I ended up buying a few basics: a red stretch shirt, a black cardigan, and straight-legged jeans.

There you go! You asked for it.
My girly side
I mentioned in my last entry that I need to upgrade my wardrobe. My plan is to go through my closet and remove everything that I no longer want or that no longer fits (which is most of it; some of my clothes are leftover from middle school!), and I’ll either give them to my mom to sell in a yard sale or donate them. Then I’m going to scour thrift stores for good bargains on vintage and brand name clothes.
I’ve never been much of a girly girl. Throughout my life, whenever I’ve received my allowance or (nowadays) my paycheck, I’ve always excitedly thought of what new video games are out or which books I’ve been wanting to read. We have a used bookstore around here where you can get roughly 12 books for only $10. I always buy stacks of stuff from there. Anyway, the point is that I haven’t shopped for clothes in…I don’t know how long! I can’t even remember the last time I bought a pair of jeans. Deep down inside, however, I love clothes, and I think I have a fairly decent fashion sense.
Lately, I’ve realized that I have next to nothing to wear. I wear the same few outfits over and over again while the rest of my closet is neglected. Most of the stuff I own is from years ago, and I either don’t like it anymore or it stopped fitting once I started developing a shape. I’ve been a strictly t-shirt and jeans girl for the past few months and it’s getting boring. I need to go out and buy fitted tops, skinny jeans, ballet flats, cute dresses, etc. My girly side is beginning to protest my everyday use of comfy, practical clothes! Must…buy…heels…
